The planning screen has two modes, and each member of the team chooses their own.

Simple

Simple keeps the calendar and the plan panel. You see the days, you open a day, you add people, locations and items. It is enough for most crew and for producers who want to see what is planned without the machinery.

Advanced

Advanced adds:

  • the timeline with the windows of the activities;
  • the budget bridge: budget, planned and spent per header, always in view;
  • capacity and workload views across productions;
  • more lenses: board, crew swimlanes, costs and the breakdown;
  • the Show layers.

Show layers

In advanced mode, Show switches extra information on the calendar on and off:

  • Costs: what each day costs from the budget lines.
  • Weather: the forecast for shoot days with a location.
  • Status: draft, published, to do, in progress, done.
  • Details: people, locations and items on the day itself.
  • Windows: the activity windows behind the days.

Switching

Open the planning and switch the mode in the toolbar. Tubes remembers it for you; your colleagues keep their own choice.
