A call sheet always belongs to a project and is generated from a planned day. Link the activity to a project first if it has none.
Generate
- Open the day in the planning and choose Call sheet in the activity panel, or go to Call Sheets in the project and create one for the day.
- Tubes fills in what the day already knows: date, start time, the people, the locations and the linked scenes.
Complete the call sheet
A call sheet has sections you fill in or check:
- Scenes: the scenes of the day, in order.
- Cast & crew: everyone on the day, with call times and their role.
- Specifications: equipment and requirements per department, for example camera or sound.
- Locations: address, meet-up place and meet-up time, and the company move when the unit changes place during the day.
- Notes: the general notes, emergency information and anything the crew must know.
You can duplicate a call sheet for a similar day.
Statuses
A call sheet is a Draft until you send it. It becomes Sent, then Confirmed when the crew has confirmed, and Wrapped after the day. A sent call sheet keeps the day as a call sheet; you cannot turn it back into a plain day.
Send
Choose Send call sheet. Email goes out now: the call sheet as PDF, a calendar file, and each person's own confirmation link. WhatsApp and push are noted for later. See Crew confirmations.
On the phone
Published call sheets appear in the Tubes mobile app under Callsheets, with cast & crew, locations, scenes, specifications and the production log, where crew can add a remark during the day. See The Tubes mobile app.
