A client, a co-producer or a financier does not need a Tubes account to look at a budget. You share it with a magic link.

Share

  1. Open the budget and choose Share budget via magic link.
  2. Enter the email address of the person and send.

They receive an email "Budget shared: (name)". When they open the link, Tubes sends a verification code to the same email address; they enter the code and see the budget read-only. Links are valid for a limited number of weeks and the panel shows when each link was last viewed.

Comments

The reader can leave comments on the shared budget. You see them in Tubes, so questions about a line can be answered where the line is.

Revoke

In the share panel, the Active magic links list shows who has access. Choose Revoke to end a link immediately.

Note: A magic link shows the budget as it is at the moment of viewing. If you want the reader to see a fixed version, share a published budget or send a quotation instead.
