• How budgets work in Tubes A budget holds the estimated costs of a production, organised in cost categories and budget lines. Where budgets come from, what the totals mean and which statuses a budget goes through.
• Build a budget The steps of the budget editor: details, planning, the budget lines themselves, additional costs and the quotation text. Add items from your library or start from a template.
• Save, restore and lock budget versions Snapshot a budget with a name, go back to an earlier version from the Saved panel, and lock lines that must not change.
• Templates, price lists and items Where the standard structure of your budgets lives: templates with phases, activities and resources, the item library and price lists.
• Additional costs, discounts and fees Overhead, handling, production fee, contingency and discounts as lines on top of the budget, with percentages that build on running subtotals.

• Share a budget with someone outside Tubes Send a read-only link by email, confirmed with a verification code. Links expire and can be revoked, and the reader can leave comments.
• Create a quotation from a budget A quotation turns a budget into a priced proposal for your client. Pick a budget, choose what to show, add your text, send it and follow its status.
