The cost report is the periodic document for producers, financiers and broadcasters: where the production stands at a report date.

Start a report

  1. Open the project and choose Production > Cost Report.
  2. Choose the report date and start the report. Tubes uses the forecast, or a snapshot if you pick one, so the report matches a moment you can name.

What it contains

  • The summary sentence: how much has been booked as cost to date, how much is committed in purchase orders and other committed costs, together which percentage of the work budget, and the remaining estimate to complete.
  • Per cost category and cost type: budget, cost to date, committed, ETC, EFC and variance.
  • The definitions of the terms, so a reader outside Tubes understands the columns.
  • The snapshot name and date it was based on.

Print or export

Print the report to PDF for a financier, or export it to Excel for your own analysis. The forecast, the comparison and the tag view have their own prints.
