Cast & crew is the list of people you plan on productions: your own staff, freelancers and cast.
A person
A person has a name, contact details, roles and skills (so you can filter crew lanes on "sound" or "gaffer"), and the rates and cost allocations that determine how planning a day on them affects the budget.
Availability
Assignment agreements say when a person is Available, on Contract, on Leave, Unavailable or on Vacation, with dates. The planning uses this: hatched days in the crew lanes are days off, and the capacity view counts available days.
Import
Import a crew list from a file instead of typing it. The import shows a preview and a mapping of the columns before it runs, and can be undone.
On a production
Within a project, Cast & Crew, Casting and Recruitment under Production show who is on this production, in which role, and who is still needed. A person planned on a day appears on the call sheet and gets a confirmation link. See Crew confirmations.
Payroll
Employer costs for your own staff can be uploaded as payroll so they land on the productions as cost. Ask your finance team, or Tubes, about the format.
