The portal is the outside entrance of Tubes, for people who are not on your team but do have business with a production: a client who wants to follow the project, a co-producer, a supplier who sends invoices.
Signing in
The portal has no passwords. A visitor enters their email address and receives a login link, valid for 60 minutes. If the address is known to you as a contact with portal access, the link opens their portal: "Welcome to the portal of (your company)".
What a visitor sees
- Your projects: the projects they are linked to, with status and the documents you shared.
- Submit invoice: upload an invoice for a project, or without a project. See Submit an invoice through the portal.
A visitor only sees the projects they are linked to. Budgets, costs and internal notes are never shown in the portal.
Giving access
Open the contact under Contacts and give them portal access. Revoke it there too; a revoked visitor sees "Your access has been revoked" when they try the link.
