Much of the vocabulary in Tubes is a list you can change. Settings groups them.

Types, statuses and categories

  • Budget statuses (Concept, Active, Approved, Completed, Cancelled) and Budget types.
  • Project statuses and Project types (commercial, documentary, drama series, live).
  • Client statuses and Client types.
  • Quotation statuses (Draft, Sent, Signed, Expired).
  • Financing categories (Lead Producer(s), Co-producers, Broadcaster Contribution, Subsidies & Funds, Regional Funds, Pre-sales, Other) and Contribution types.
  • VAT rules.

Rename, reorder, add or deactivate. A status that is in use cannot be deleted.

Phases, activities, resources and links

The building blocks of templates: the phases of a production, the activities within them, the resources an activity needs, and the links between them. See Templates, price lists and items.

Layouts, process flows and automations

  • Submenu: which items the Budgeting and Production tabs of a project show, and in which order.
  • Process flows: the steps of the budget editor.
  • Automations: actions Tubes performs on an event, such as a status change.
  • Payment approval rules: see Payment approval rules.

Data lists and AI

Price lists, items, building blocks, logo lists and the assistants with their prompts. Each has its own page under Settings.

Tip: Change lists before a production starts, not during. Renaming a status is harmless; deleting one that reports depend on is not.
