Signing in
Open your Tubes environment and sign in with your email address and password. Depending on how your account was set up, you can also sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft or GitHub.
If you were invited by a colleague, open the link in the invitation email first. If you already have a Tubes account, log in to accept the invitation; otherwise create an account and the invitation is accepted for you.
Forgotten your password? Use the reset link on the sign-in page. A password reset email is sent to your address.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a code from an authenticator app on your phone to your password.
- Open your account menu and go to Password & Security.
- Choose Enable two-factor authentication.
- Scan the image with the two-factor authentication app on your phone and enter the code it shows.
- Save the backup codes. Recovery codes let you sign in if you cannot receive codes from your phone. You can regenerate them later from the same screen.
To switch it off, return to Password & Security and choose Disable two-factor authentication.
Sensitive actions
For some sensitive actions Tubes asks you to confirm your password again, even when you are already signed in.
Session timeout
After a period of inactivity Tubes shows a warning that your session is about to end. Choose Extend Session to keep working. If you do nothing, you are signed out and can sign in again; nothing you saved is lost. An administrator can set the inactivity timeout for the whole account.
More than one account
If you work in several Tubes accounts, switch between them under Accounts in your account menu. Each account has its own projects, team and settings.
