The sidebar on the left is the main navigation. Which items you see depends on your role: an item you have no permission for is hidden automatically, and you can hide items you do not use yourself.
Two layouts
Open Preferences at the bottom of the sidebar to choose a layout:
Classic: Overview and Lists
- Overview: Budgeting, Production, Pipeline, Budgets, Planning, Compare, Finance and Approvals. Stakeholder accounts also see Portfolio.
- Lists: Projects, Contacts, Cast & crew, Locations, Quotations and Chat.
Concept: Budget, Plan, Produce
- Budget: Budgeting, Pipeline, Budgets, Quotations, Compare and Contacts.
- Plan: Planning, Projects, Cast & crew and Locations.
- Produce: Production, Approvals, Finance, Chat and Portfolio.
Both layouts contain the same screens, grouped differently. The choice is personal and is remembered for you.
What the main items are for
- Budgeting and Production are overviews of the projects in that phase. Click a project card to preview it.
- Pipeline lists projects and budgets that are not yet confirmed.
- Budgets lists every budget in the account.
- Planning is the calendar, timeline and crew view across all productions.
- Compare puts budgets side by side.
- Finance is the cost hub: review, approval, export and all transactions.
- Approvals shows what is waiting for you, with a badge for the number of pending items.
- Projects, Contacts, Cast & crew and Locations are the lists behind the productions.
- Quotations lists the documents you sent to clients.
- Chat is the team conversation per project, with a badge for unread messages.
Bottom of the sidebar
- Preferences: layout, hidden items and your personal settings.
- Account: profile, password and security, accounts, connected accounts, billing and invoices.
- Updates and What's New: your notifications and the release notes for Tubes.
- Help: the Tubes assistant. Ask a question about Tubes and it answers in the context of the page you are on.
- Feedback: tell us that something is missing, unclear, or that you have a wish or idea.
Tip: The blue coach marks that appear on some screens explain what to do next. Choose Got it to close one, or Don't show again once you know the screen.
