The trial

A new account starts as a Trial. You have the full workspace for the trial period. Tubes warns you in the days before it ends: "Your trial ends in (n) days. Choose a subscription now to keep access to Tubes."

When the trial ends

Without a subscription the account becomes Read-only: you can sign in and look at everything, but not change it. "Your trial has ended. Choose a subscription to keep using Tubes." Choose a plan under Billing and the account is active again with all your data.

Billing statuses

Status Meaning
Trial The trial period.
Paid An active subscription.
Past due A payment failed. Update the payment method to continue.
Read-only No active subscription; the account can be read but not changed.
Cancelled The subscription was cancelled.
Deactivated The account was closed.

Failed payment

When a card is declined the status becomes Past due: "Your payment method was declined. Please add another payment method to continue." Update it under Billing > Payment Method.

Cancel

You can cancel at any time; there are no hidden costs. The account then becomes read-only at the end of the paid period. Export what you need first: budgets to Excel, transactions in batches, documents as PDF. See Export budgets and reports.
