Imports, exports & integrations

• Import a Movie Magic budget Upload a JSON or Excel export from Movie Magic Budgeting and continue working in Tubes without retyping. JSON brings every line and fringe; Excel brings totals per category.
• Import lists from a file Import contacts, crew, items or other lists from Excel or CSV with a preview and a column mapping. An import can be undone.
• Export budgets and reports Print a budget or quotation to PDF, export a budget to Excel, and print the forecast, the comparison and the cost report.
• Export approved costs to Excel or your accounting system Approved transactions leave Tubes in batches: as an Excel file, or straight into Xero or Exact. Every batch is logged and can be re-exported or undone.
• Connect Xero A guided setup: connect your Xero organisation, map cost categories to ledger accounts and VAT rates to tax codes, sync contacts, and switch on export.
• Connect Slack Get Tubes notifications in Slack, with a channel per production if you want.
• Connect your own AI assistant (MCP) and use the API Let Claude, Cursor or another AI assistant work in your Tubes account through MCP, with a token per role. Or build your own integration on the API.
